Do you ever feel like you have lived before? I don't just mean the cliched idea about feeling alive, but rather that maybe you lived someone elses life. Today I was walking around my apartment complex, on my way to pick up the mail, and a light, cool drizzle began to fall from the sky. It felt so good and refreshing that I just had to turn my face to the heavens, and I felt like I had done that before but as someone else.
I had visions of thunder and lightning all around me, as if I were the ancient Norse god of thunder himself. Which brings me to another question, where did the gods of olde go? That is assuming for just one second that there were gods, I know, I know it sounds like fantasy and it probably was but it's fun to think about. I love reading about other religions and such. Anyway there is a great book by Neil Gaiman called American Gods, a story about what happened to the olde gods when people stopped believing and about the new gods that took there place.
Well that went somewhere I had not planned, but I feel better. Now get outta here before I hurl a thunderbolt at ya.
